Where can you use your Easytrip RFID? 2021 Exit Toll Updates
Thousands of people travel in and out of Manila for both business and pleasure on the daily. Thankfully, we have high capacity roads that make travelling to and from nearby provinces quicker and more convenient. However, these do come with a price.
Just in case you’re starting to compute your daily/weekly/monthly budget, here’s a quick list of updated expressway exit fees for Easytrip to include in your daily commute fund.
NLEX/SCTEX Toll Fee
From the old ₱54 fee of 2019, now has an increase of ₱6, making the basic NLEX toll ₱60. Class 2 Entry/Exit from Mindanao Avenue has also increased from ₱136 in 2019 to ₱149 for Class 2 vehicles, and from ₱164 to ₱179 for Class 3 vehicles.
See updated list of the North Luzon Expressway and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway tolls in the official gov.ph Toll Regulatory Board page.
CALAX Toll Fee
The Toll Regulatory Board has also recently released a Notice of Toll Rate Implementation for pre-accepted initial toll rates in subsections 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway.
In this notice, the approved VAT-inclusive initial tollrates for Class 1 vehicles are ₱450/km, for Class 2 vehicles are ₱9.00/km, and for Class 3 vehicles are ₱13.50/km. You may find the updated matrix for the respective subsections (Silang East Interchange to Greenfield Mamplasan) in the Drive file linked above.
To make passing through NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, CALAX, or C5 Southlink easier and more convenient, be sure to equip your vehicle with an EasyTrip RFID e-tag. Here’s a quick guide on How to Get an EasyTrip E-Tag.
